I stumbled across this place by accident and wasn’t planning on going inside, but just the small glimpse I saw through the windows was enough to pique my curiosity. Then Lena told me it wasn’t just a cafe but an artisanal doughnuts shop, and apparently Montreal’s only one. I was sold, had to go in, at that moment, everything else can wait. And, it was worth it. I had a simple cinnamon sugar doughnut and Lena had a decadent looking pistacho one. There weren’t many flavours available at the time because it was Mother’s day (Did you wish your mom a happy mother’s day, cause if you didn’t, now would be a good time), so I’ll definitely be going back. They have many flavours with nuts though, and my only complaint is that those without nuts are often touching those with nuts anyways, and so cross contamination is very likely and I can’t eat them and that makes me very sad. Ok, ramblings of an allergy prone adult aside, I’m still going to go back and hopefully will be able to enjoy a different flavour.
