Today I learned that Tokyo Jihen was disbanding, and I became incredibly upset cause there will be no more songs, no more classy videos, and I will now never have a chance of seeing and hearing them live. I never really thought about it before and I never talk about it with anyone either, but I realized that Tokyo Jihen is my all time favorite band. All of the typical Kpop and cutesy Jpop can disapear from the face of the earth and I would get over it in 2 seconds flat. But finding out that Tokyo Jihen was disbanding, not just a long hiatus, I could deal with that with the hope of them coming back with something awesome, but officially ending? I’m sad and will be playing all five of their albums on loop for the next few days.
Oh and this song, most likely their last promotional video as well.

At least I was able to discover their stellar music while they were still active, and Shiina Ringo will obviously continue with her solo work.
So there are still things to look forward too.

Yes let’s T.T How I wish they would tour outside of Japan. School and money is not allowing me to get up and go to see them live. So I’m probably going to buy their last DVD tour once it’s available.

HAHAHA yeah me too (about buying their last DVD… T_T). I’m so gonna miss them, I just wish the other band members will still play for Shiina when it’s her solo project.
